Depression Glass Spotlight – Jubilee Depression Glass

Jubilee Depression GlassJubilee Depression Glass is a very popular depression glass pattern.  It was made by the Lancaster Glass Company in the early 1930s in yellow, clear and pink.   The yellow colored items (sometimes called Topaz) are the most plentiful.  The pink colored items are rarer and are much more in demand than the other colors, making them more expensive to acquire.

It is a delicate pattern with an etched flower design that consists of an open center flower with 12 pointed petals.  Most of the plates and bowls have scalloped edges.

The hardest to find (and most valuable) pieces are considered to be the vase, covered candy jar and some of the larger bowls.  Some of the different size plates are easily obtained at very affordable prices – especially in the yellow color.
