It is always interesting to see what people are buying and selling (and for how much).  Here are the highest priced individual items sold in eBay’s Elegant Glass category over the last 30 days:

Fostoria Navarre Crystal Set Nov 2011I usually stick to single items for these reviews and don’t often include large sets or groups of items, but felt like this was a noteable set o include.  It is the highest priced listing that sold in the Elegant Glass category in the last month.  It is a 65 piece set of Fostoria glassware in the Navarre pattern.  The set sold for a “best offer” of $2,900.  The 65 pieces included One Rare Large Pitcher, One Ice Bucket with Tongs, 2 Candle Holders with bases for 3 Candles Each, Sugar and Creamer Set, 8 Sets of Cups and Saucers, 8 Plates 9″ in diameter, 8 Goblet Stemwares, 7 Ice Tea or Luncheon Goblet Stemwares, 6 Low Desert/Champagne Stemwares, 7 Wine Claret Stemwares and 7 Cordial (Lacquer) Stemwares.

Cambridge Glass Amethyst Seashell BowlThis Amethyst Cambridge Glass bowl was the highest priced single item that sold.  It received 22 bids and sold for $2,054.   It is described by the seller as Flying Nude Seashell #40 bowl, who goes on to state that the piece is 9 1/4″ tall and weighs over 4 pounds.

Heisey Glass Flamingo Aristocrat Covered Footed Candy Dish

Next was this Heisey Glass Flamingo Aristocrat Covered Footed Candy Dish.  (Flamingo is the Heisey name for pink.)  It sold for $1651.61 after receiving 12 bids.  The seller stated it is 10 3/4″ tall, is from the Aristocrat #1430 pattern and is signed underneath with the Diamond H Heisey signature.

Heisey Toothpick Holder

Another Heisey item was next – this Locket on Chain pattern toothpick holder received 13 bids and sold for $886.  The seller stated the #160 locket on chain pattern toothpick holder was produced around 1900.

Cambridge Statuesque CocktailNext on our list is this Cambridge Glass Statuesque Line Nude Blue & Tuscan Stem Cocktail Glass.  It received 19 bids and sold for $759.

Heisey Tangerine Favor VaseMore Heisey – this small Favor Vase in the tangerine color received 52 bids and sold for $709.99.  The vase measures 2 inches wide and 3 inches high and still has the Heisey label attached to the bottom:

Cambridge Glass Green Etched Samovar

This next item is so impressive to me.  It would look so lovely in my dining room on my Grandmother’s antique marble top chest.  It is a Cambridge Glass Topaz Green Etched Vaseline Samovar and I need it.  It sold for $700 after receiving 20 bids.
(A samovar is a metal urn with a spigot at the base; used in Russia to boil water for tea.  I had to look it up, thought I’d save you the trouble.)

Cambridge Glass Cobalt Blue Floor Vase

This Cambridge Cobalt Blue 18″ floor vase sold for $650.  The seller stated it was from the 1930s.

Fostoria American Covered Glove BoxThis Fostoria American covered glove box received 12 bids and sold for $615.55.  The glove box measures 9-1/2″ inches long, 3-1/2″ inches x 2″ inches deep.  With the cover it measures,9-1/2′ inches long x 3-1/2″ inches wide.
