Heisey Grape Cobalt Blue Candlestick

This Heisey Grape Cobalt Blue Candlestick was the highest priced item sold – it sold for $1,571 after receiving 26 bids.

Here is the item information from the seller of the item: “The candle is Heisey’s No. 1445 shape, named “Grape Cluster 2-light” by collectors / researchers (Bredehoft). The candle was introduced in 1935 and has a striking Art Deco influenced design. The candle is very nicely cast with good definition to the stylized leaves, grape clusters, twig buds and candle cups.  This form has become increasingly difficult to find in any color, but the two-tone color combination is quite a rare find. The stem and candle arms are beautifully executed in the desirable cobalt blue shade which shows rich color. The base is done in crystal and shows excellent clarity. The candle measures 9 3/8″ high, 8 ¼” wide at the candle cups and 5 ½” wide at the base. The base of the stems bears the embossed “Diamond H” Heisey mark.”
